Multiple Language Caption Translation – 5W 1H

“A different language is a different vision of life”, quoted award winning world known filmmaker Federico Fellini. Knowing multiple foreign languages is an ability that one develops on their own but what if the circumstances are different? With the evolution of computer and technology over generations and the introduction of Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence, the world has become smaller to the size of a mobile screen. Now, people can get easy translations in multiple languages and extend their global network. How far is this translation helping viewers in YouTube? Let’s find out.
YouTube provides two types of translations – auto and adding our own closed captions. It provides auto translation in nearly 109 languages, but apart from English translation, other language translations are less accurate. Even the English translation is not perfect. So for someone who wants the content in their mother tongue and not a pro in English, this might be difficult as the translation is based on coded machine language which cannot crack the inner meanings as good as human beings does. What if I want to get translated captions of videos from motivational speakers like Nick Vujicic? Or stand up comedians like Kenny Sebastian?
The best way to solve this ambiguity is to have accurate auto translations available with the advanced option of human refining/ editing.  So for cracking the jokes of Kenny Sebastian I can translate the English transcript to my mother tongue, edit it if required and add it back to the video. Wonderful right! So from next time onwards if someone wants to see the same video with captions in my mother tongue, he can enjoy it with my captions. Wow! I just helped someone…LOL
Where can I find a website which helps me in this process? Check out https://translatecaptions.com/
